Advantages: Passes some time, funny to watch the tantrums.

Disadvantages: Spoilt brats....now theres a british version.

My super sweet 16, well where do I start?!

This was originally an American TV show obviously of super rich Americans but there is also a British version now with all the British brats which is just so shameful to watch, I can't believe there are British people like this.

This is a show about teenagers turning 16; their parents are super rich and throw them a massive super sweet 16 birthday party.

First of all the show starts off by showing the family off, how rich they are, how much stuff they have and shows the little brats getting everything they ask for and usually with the teenager stating: im daddy's little princess he never says no to me, I always get exactly what I want, and from that point you know its downhill from there.
Just to point out it isn't only girls having parties its boys too.

Basically you watch the teenagers planning their whole party from what theme they want to where they want the location of their party.

One of the big parts of the show is the girls choosing their dress or the guys choosing what I would call a pimp outfit, the most expensive the outfits the better and even more shocking the parents don't ask questions and just pay up, oh but if the parents were to say anything there would be tantrums, so best not to really.

The aim of the programme these days is for the sweet 16 girl or boy to make their birthday party better than any other sweet 16 birthday party previously.

They do this buy asking or should I say throwing tantrums to have a celebrity sing at their party and if they don't get who they want the party is off!
I don't understand why this is so important though the celebrities are only there due to the money they don't care for the individual, I personally think the money could be better spent.

Their birthday present is usually a car of some sort, these days it's usually a land rover which costs more than your house, again this car is the choice of the birthday girl or boy.

One thing I don't understand about these rich kids is that they are so horrible to their parents and treat them like crap yet are they forgetting it's the parents who own the money they are receiving.

If it was me "the parent" and my child spoke to me like that, the whole thing would be cancelled. I can't believe the parents let them treat them like that. I think the kids need a lesson in appreciating the value of money.

The whole cost of the party is usually over the hundreds of thousands.

Anyway this is just the gist of the programme, you really need to watch it yourself to get the full effect of these spoilt kids, its car crash TV you can't help but watch it.

Summary: please theres more important things to worry about in the world.
