Advantages: on everyday

Disadvantages: storylines not true to life

neighbours is great - so the actings sometimes a bit wooden, the sets a bit wobbly, and the storylines are bad, but I think nearly everyone in the UK has seen at east one episode of neighbours. I love it - try to watch it everyday, but it reallys doesnt matter, the plot goes on for ever anyway. The biggest problem is the lack of reality - this soap is trying to promote perfect everything - there is no smoking, no swearing, no drinking under age. the aggression is minimal - all of this make the soap seem a little silly, but its been going for something like 10 years so someone must like it!!!!!! the storylines are good sometimes - hot topics such as addiction, eating disorders, divorce, drink-driving etc have been hit on, but maybe not as strongly as they would have been in an english soap. however i am still watching and have been from the start, and I would recomend to anyone to watch it as well
