Never Mind the Buzzcocks is one of my favourite panel shows. Its been around for as long as I can remember, Mark Lamarr used to host but he has recently been replaced by Simon Amstell, who is best known for his put downs on Popworld.

The show consists of two teams (fronted by Phil Jupitus and Bill Bailey)
The guests on the show are normally people from the music business and comedians or celebrities from talk shows.

The show itself consists of numerous different rounds, normally starting with something like "Whats been Pixellated" where the aim of the game is to guess whats been pixellated in the music video.
I love these rounds as there is a lot of wit thrown around between the teams depending on who the video is of!
And its normally quite hard, I always remember the Nelly Furtado video where they actually pixellated an upside down table.

This normally leads into the intros round (this has been going as long as the show) and it has the frontman of the team (Bill or Phil) and the musical guest humming the intros to the other guest on their team, this one is hard, I struggle to get most of them!

Next up is generally the Identity parade, my favourite, a video is shown to the audience at home of a one hit wonder, or really old band, and its up to the panellists to pick them out from a line up.

I'll always remember one series where they had the same guy in the line up week in and week out!

This is sometimes replaced with a round where the panellists have to guess who the look-alikes are and put them into some sort of order, most popular, or who has the most look-alikes, things like that.

The final round is next lines, my favourite part of this is when the guests can't even figure out lines to the next songs that they've sung!

I have never understood the scoring on this, but I don't think that's what the show is really about

Summary: My favourite panel show
