Advantages: Simon's sarcasm

Disadvantages: Only when poor guests on show

Never Mind the Buzzcocks has got to be the funniest tv panel show I have ever watched. My other half introduced me to it as I had never previously been one for comedy and I think it is hilarious! Simon Amstell is the best. To say he is sarcastic is a complete understatement. The way he talks to his guests on there, with complete disregard for their feelings makes me crack up. On the show, he is usually joined by the team leaders Phil Jupitus and Bill Bailey, but theis series Bill's deserted us, so we have a stand in TL each week. These have varied from Jack Dee to Davina McCall, each good in their own different ways. The rounds that are included on the show are connections, sorry no refunds, do you really want to hurt me, do you know who i am?, mama said knock you out, what have we pixellated, next lines (my favourite) and identity parade (another of my favourites). A few of my personal favourite guests include last weeks Lee Ryan. How much abuse can one guy actually receive. The worst of it was that he seriously didn't even have a clue they were even laughing at him. His film went from being out at the cinema, to a text message, you have got to watch it! Another favourite was Preston, after he stormed off the show for criticism of his then wife, Chantelle. Well, Simon was reading extracts from her book, but I thought it was highly amusing.

Summary: Funny panel show

My favourite episodes have to be the Preston one you mentioned, the Danny or Donny whatever his name is (the punk rock star thats actually quite middle class that went on 'celeb' big brother before walking and promoting his band) and his smoking "he's smoking a cigarette you can legally purchase all over the country in a closed studio." And Amy Winehouse's intervention!

Personally I thought Mark Lamarr was a better host, but Simons grown into it. Haven't seen it for a while though.
