Disadvantages: Cant thik of any

To start with a question...how in any realms of absurdity or fantasy land can this show be classed as a gameshow? I mean, Mark Lamaar tells the contestants the answers most of the time and decideds to take a break during the quick fire round because it is funny and the gameshow aspect doesnt matter.

Mark Lamaar presents and is one of the funniest comedians on television. He cant possibly write that show himself because he would be pronounced king of comedy. In fact i agree with Jack Dee, Big Brother would be a hell of a lot better if Mark was in it. Though the writers of the show should be given many many awards themselves.

Obviously the show is scripted and it is probable that the teams are given the answers before shooting. Though this is kind of disproved by the fact that I get some answers and the people who sing the damn song dont... Perhaps it is only given to the team leaders, Phil Jupitus who is an extremely funny man at times and when he gets into full swing can have you incapacitated with laughter. And Sean Hughes, funny himself because he looks as if hes just been dragged out of bed, hes Irish, (Like myself :-)) which makes him doubly funny, and has a quick wit.

The show brings on all the stars of the day and lets the team leaders and Mark take the mickey out of them for 30mins. Some stars stick up for themselves and when those three are faltering can bring their own comedy to the set, memorable as they were Fish, Leo Sayer and Darius from Popstars. The first two arent stars of today but Leo is a recognised and respected artist and Fish...well Fish was just funny.

I only have one problem and that is that it is given a slot on BBC2 and not BBC1 because of this it doesnt get the wider audience or recognition it deserves. If you like comedy then this is the essence of it and will have you laughing days later just at the memory of last weeks show...

Love this show, and this is a good op. Could use a bit more background info for people who don't watch it though.

I love this show - especially when they have to identify a has-been from a line up!! They are always really funny - do you remember the black guy who scared everyone and Sean Hughes that he was going to be beaten up by him?! The funniest thing was that he came back some weeks later when no-one expected it!!
