No Angels is a comedy drama series set in St. Margaret's hospital in Leeds and follows the lives of four of the nurses. The title refers to the belief that nurses are caring and lovely, however the personal lives of these characters clearly dispute this point! The program ran for 3 series between 2004 and 2006 and was devised by Toby Whithouse. CHARACTERS: Lia (Louise Delamere)- Lia is the eldest of the four main leads and has a daughter, Emma, who she gave birth to at aroun 14/15. --Background-- There are three series of this programmes. It follows the lives of 4 nurses working in Leeds. It is based inside the hospital watching the nurses relationships with the doctors and patients and also follows their lives outside of the hospital. It deals with stories such as sex, death and relationships.
