---------------- THE PLOT ---------------- The pilot episode begins on 7 August 2007, which was 5 years into the future when the programme began. Five people are on a routine space flight - three are astronauts, one is a scientist, and one is a television news reporter. Whilst this group are on their flight the Earth explodes, and the crew of the shuttle are the only survivors. They are rescused by a being known as The Seeker. As a lover of TV based science fiction I have found that sating my appetites has not always been that easy. I have watched all the ‘Star Treks’, I loved going through ‘The X Files’ series 1-9 over a period of 6 months. However, I found myself having little else to watch between episodes of ‘Lost’ and ‘Heroes’ on TV. I decided to trawl the DVD box sets on my online DVD rental site and it was not long before I stumbled across a city of lost TV shows all of which were axed after one or two series. Sky One is one of my most visited channels, mainly because they consistently show programmes that interest me. The Simpsons, X Files, Stargate SG-1, Dark Angel, Alias, Enterprise, World Wrestling Entertainment? No, scrub that last one. It just proves they do show complete rubbish as well. You've no doubt got a feel for my tastes, Sci-Fi, Humour, Spy... Not that I only watch Sky or even only these types of programs.
