Advantages: Great commedy

Disadvantages: Shame they have finished making them.

Possibly one of the best comedies to appear on the BBC over the last 25 years. Thats Only Fools and horses. Its a great combination of fine actors, fine script writing and great characters that makes it be classified as a timeless classic.
The two loveable cockneys, Del boy and Rodney, have had many funny adventures over the years. Ususally at the expense of grandad, Uncle Albert or each other. The normal story was that they would have a great money making scheme that would go horribly wrong and end up costing more money.
This went on for years but never lost its appeal.
It has now run its course with the last episode being filmed a couple of years ago for Christmas with them becoming Millionaires, like they always dreamed of.
They may have finished making them but the repeats will continue to entertain for years to come.

Andycharger's (AC)opinion displays a compelling understanding of the high quality of comedic style displayed by the actors in 'Only Fools and Horses.'

I do, however, think that a more in-depth analysis of possibly the best television comedy series ever shown on television is required.

AC could have mentioned the feature length programmes such as 'The Jolly Boy's Outing' or 'To Hull and Back' as well as offered his opinion on the relevant merits of the cast.

Moreover AC could also have mentioned the way the writer portrayed the Trotter brother's struggle to achieve wealth in a money driven and class orientated society.

Save these omissions, I enjoy what is a mutual admiration of this fine work.
