Advantages: hilarious
Disadvantages: none!
Only Fools And Horses is a timeless classic comedy from the BBC. I grew up watching this in the 90's and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread! I loved the Christmas specials particularly, they're what made Christmas Christmassy in my house!
It tells the story of a cockney market trader living in a council flat in Peckham with his brother, Rodney, and elderly grandad. Over the years many more characters came and went from the flact, charcters such as the loveable Uncle Albert.
Del Boy (Sir David Jason) is on a mission to make him and his family millionaires. Although, selling dodgey gear like sex dolls and breifcases that don't open that's hardly an acheivable goal really! Rodney (Nicholas Lindhurst) is Delboy's (Derek) younger brother. He is supposed to be the intelligent one of the family but always gets pushed around and told what to do by Del, and even Uncle Albert come to that!
Together, they own Trotter's Independant Traders and mainly sell dodgey gear from the back of their three wheeler on the black market, hardly the scene for millionaires!
Some of the other characters include:
Trigger (Roger Lloyd Pack)- A road sweeper. Calls Rodney Dave for some reason!
Boycie (John Challis)- Stuck up car dealer.
Denzil (Paul Barber)- A long distance lorry driver
I will really never get bored of watching Only Fools And Horses no matter how many times I have seen it before, I love it and would recommend it to anyone, young and old alike.
Summary: really funny comedy
