Advantages: Superb comedy

Disadvantages: Went on too long

Only Fools and Horses is a classic British comedy and probably one of the best of all time. In my opinion the only real criticism that I have is that they went on too long, they should have stopped when the two brothers got rich and given the viewers the happy ending they wanted instead of bringing them back for a couple more specials, that was when I stopped watching it.

The comedy acting in this show is superb, David Jason as the wheeler dealer Peckham trader Del is pure class and the character is one everybody finds appealing even if you would not want to buy anything from him, Nichols Lyndhurst is the perfect foil as the gawky younger brother Rodney, not since Ronnie Corbett in the role of Timothy Lumsden has an actor totally killed off a name for parents when thinking of baby names.

The supporting cast is very strong but it is the two central characters with their interaction and witty dialogue combined with some superb comic timing that makes this so great. Also there are some classic visual jokes like the chandelier cleaning and the Robin and Batman scene that have a place in comedy history.
