Advantages: Long-running incredibly funny show

Disadvantages: It's over, and 2 of the stars have died

Only Fools and horses is without a doubt, one of my favourite comedy shows of all time. It was watched by millions of people in the UK on BBC One, and people around the world can also see it via BBC Prime and BBC America. The show had a certain mix to it that others even to this day, cannot match... quite possibly the best thing to come out of the BBC ever.

Only Fools and Horses revolved around the lives of two dodgey Peckham traders, Derick "Del Boy" Trotter, and his dim-witted wacky-tobacky smoking brother Rodney Trotter. It was always a joy to see the two getting up to their "wheeling-and-dealing" at the local market, and Del Boy continually buying bulk supplies of goods that he's NEVER going to sell (like Alarm Clocks that go off "whenever they bleedin' like!"). The show also starred their grandfather who was played by Lennard Pearce, but was killed off whenever he...well...died. It actually came as quite a shock when I first saw that episode, the grandfather had became such an important part of the overall show. But when Uncle Albert came on the scene, I soon knew that he'd be a more than worthy replacement. One of my favorute moments is when Del says he'll smack him if he says "During the war" again, to which Uncle Albert replies: "During the 1939-1945 world conflict..." - pure magic.

The last episodes of the show aired in 1997, which were fantastic, but it dosen't look likey that any more wil be made (considering Buster Merryfiled has died, the actor who played Uncle Albert). But I for one will certainly always keep fond memories of the show, the characters and the infamous 3-wheeler Robin Reliant van. Look out for classic re-runs on UK Gold - Lovely Jubbly!

Loved it, one of my favourite shows. John Sullivan was a bloody genius.
