I was so sad wen ‘Only Fools and Horses’ finished last year but I am looking forward to seeing the repeats during Christmas time. It stars David Jason has the infamous and somewhat doggy Delboy, he look after his younger brother who isn’t that clever Rodney (Nicholas Lyndhurst). They live in a small flat with their granddad.

They always try to come up with ideas to get rich but always are left flat on their face. Of course that was until the very last episode when they found something they had in their garage to be worth millions, they were rich. They had all the best houses, car etc but it didn’t feel right, Delboy didn’t belong, the three wheeler of a transport was them.

My favourite character is Trigger, he such a comic, dull in the head and always say’s something which will leave you in tears. I can remember in one episode Trigger won a award for keeping the street clean with this brush he hadn’t changed for twenty years or so and when Del’s lot asked him he said he didn’t change the brush just the head of the brush every week. It was so funny and I like it the way he always calls Rodney, Dave.
I also like the granddad, who sits in his chair and moans away, but sometimes he can come up with some really good advice.
All the characters play a huge role in contributing to make it so funny. Boycie and Marleen, Mike the barman, Denzel and many others.

I just think that this must be one of the best comedy on going, even though it’s finished. Brilliant acting, set in the heart of South East London, you’ll never forget that yellow three wheeler. We can all sympathise with Rodney when he has to take Cassandra home in that car (if you call it that). He them lies to her saying he lives in a semi detached, embarrassed about where he does live and afraid she won’t go out with him if she finds the truth. They eventually get married and trust me, it’s
not smooth running.

A excellent comedy, don’t miss it if it’s on and if you have already watched the episodes, watch it again it will make you laugh.
