Trotters Independant Traders (Only Fools and Horses)
Member Name: scarykitten
Advantages: Hilarious, Covers serious aspects too., British Disadvantages: (none)
I don't think anyone could have anything apart from praise for Only Fools and Horses. It is a true british comedy gem. For those who have never seen it, the story is set in Peckham (an area of London) and mainly concentrates on the antics of two brothers: Derek 'Delboy' Trotter (David Jason) is a street trader and is always buying in useless rubbish and trying to sell it on; Rodney Trotter (Nicholas Lyndhurst) is his younger brother who is dragged along with all Delboy's mishaps. Although each episode is an individual story, there is a plotline going on throughout the whole epic saga of Only Fools and Horses. The comedy is enhanced further by the serious aspects covered in the program: Marriage, Pregnancy, Mis-carriage, to name but a few. I think this comedy will go down as a classic for many years to come and people will always want to watch it again and again, a masterpiece of comedy television. Summary: |
