Advantages: consistently funny

Disadvantages: Marlene's husband

'Only Fools and Horses' works, and it carries on working and making me laugh through any number of repeats. David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst are about the best comedy actors around and that must have a lot to do with it, but it's a brilliant concept, beautifully scripted.

We were watching some programme about the best comedy moments of all time and someone in my household predicted that it would be when Del Boy goes to lean on the counter in the yuppie bar and falls right through, and sure enough it was there. Mais oui. Kushti.

The real star is the little yellow three-wheeler Robin Reliant 'Trotter's Independent Trading' van, of course.
