Advantages: So watchable - again and again and again and again!

Disadvantages: Not likely to make another series.

How many other comedies can you think of that you can watch (and look forward to watching), over and over again and still fall about laughing even when you know what the punchline is?

Only Fools and Horses has got to be THE best comedy programme ever made.

Following Del Boy and his younger brother Rodney on their quest to be millionaires and watching them deal with all sorts of scams on the way is one of the highlights on British television.

Yes, we all laugh so much, our sides hurt, but what about the handful of episodes that have had a serious side to them? When Grandad died, When Derek was beaten up so he didn't have to hand over money intended for Rodney's wedding, When Cassandra miscarried, the list goes on.... we were all touched at the time and almost felt that we were part of it but in their unique style, the brothers still had the last laugh!

Thank goodness they are repeating this fantastic programme on cable. Luvverly Jubberly! Creme de menthe!
