Disadvantages: It gave these people careers

The Osbournes was a reality TV show with a difference as it took the whole fly on the wall documentary style and did away with the oice overs and just showed a semi famous family going about their rather unusual lives. This was one of the first to do this and probably being first helped to make it the most successful.

Before the series it was the dad of the house hold Ozzy Osbourne who was the famous one, a heavy metal rosk star with a wild stage act and a penchant for self destruction in the show he comes across as a shambling old relic with a tendency for every other word to be a swear one.

It is however his wife and two of his three children ( one wisely chose to stay out of the limelight ) who have made the most of this show, his awful wife Sharon has hosted her own chat show and also made loads of money from appearing as a judge on X Factor while both children have also carved out careers in the media with Jack transforming himself from a fat sulllen teen into a not so fat dare devil who is into extreme sports. His sister is still fat and rather ugly and faled in her attempt at a pop career.

I started to watch this show but soon tured of due to te fact that these people lived in a huse where the animals crapped every where and the language was just as foul as well that the whole show just appeared too stage managed for my liking so I ended up giving it a miss.

Summary: Not a good show at all.
