Advantages: great story lines, great characters
Disadvantages: slightly predicable
A science fiction based drama series in which a group of people (the others) use heightened sences such as reading peoples emotions, communicating to the other side etc. To help in their investigations into the paranormal. This program is probably rate as a cross between x-files and millenium though I would rate it as a unique seires. Though some story lines are predictable the way it is carried out (story unfolds) is excellent. There are 7 main characters in the group these are as follows Character list Julianne Nicholson stars as Marian Kitt, she is the main heroine in the show.A person who doesn't want the gift that she is given and just wants to be normal, not knowing that her special "powers" will become powerful than anyones before. Gabriel Macht stars as Mark Gabriel, he is the so called pitty boy of this series. Mark is a doctor that has empathic (emotion reading) abilities. But his love life is torn between Marian and Satori Melissa Crider plays Ellen "Satori" Pawlowski, she is a so called psycic, tarrot card reader. She is in love with Mark but they can never hold each other without something exploding. Bill Cobbs stars as Elmer Greentree, he is the leader of the group. His powers are the strongest and will only be pasted be Marian. His expience and wisdom guide Marian and the others. John Billingsley plays Professor Miles Ballard the only one in the group with out any powers. But his need to experence the paranormal sometimes led the group into unknowing danger. Kevin J. O'Connor as Warren Day, this character is by far my favorite. Though it seems at first he has no real powers just probibility in later episodes you find out that he is amongst the most powerful in the group. John Aylward as Albert McGonnagal, his character is a blind psycic that can see but cannot. You find out more about this character in the episode "eyes". Th
ough the series is currently not showing any more channel 5 should be back with a new one which I recommend you watch. When I was flicking the channels on Monday the 12th I saw the others on channel 5 at 11:30 so a new series might be following shortly I'd like to take dooyoo for moving this comment back to where it should be.
