Paul & Pauline calf's video diaries are two seperate journals recording the exploits of Northeners Paul Calf and his sister Pauline.
Paul's video diary centres around the christmas/new year period and his pathetic attempt to get back with is ex-girlfriend Julie.
All is recorded by his pal 'fat Bob' and pal-of-sorts Roland(ex-student) on a video camera "fat blobby bastard" bob got for christmas.
Some excellent scenes that will have you hitting the rewind button over 'n' over, this is so funny it has to be seen to be believed!
Pauline's video diary is all about the wedding of Pauline & 'Greek' Spiros.
Everything is well documented by Paul & Bob who take to the camera and film everything from Spiros's arrival to Spiros's....well that would spoil it if you haven't seen it yet!
I'd have to say this is Steve Coogan's finest work to date..sorry Alan.
If you like nothern humour (Royle Family..) you will love this set of video diaries!

- 01/04/01 I'd just like to add that i totally agree that this is THE most genius work of Steve coogan, everything in this video is so well done with subtlety aswell as just blatent comedy genius, steve coogan pulls a blinder with this comedy masterpiece. A must-see for all steve coogan fans....infact EVERYONE in the world....maybe we should indoctrinate everyone by hacking into the satellite systems and putting it on to the tv.... or maybe just hope people read this and watch it.... anyway the point of this opinion is.... WATCH IT!!! its amazing! |
