Advantages: Funny, obsvervational

Disadvantages: none

Peter Kay pretty much makes up comedy about everyday things and is very true to life. His act is rather simple, uncomplicated and more to the point extremely observant. He makes jokes about things that everyone does/says that really you wouldn't even think was funny until he has brought it to your attention. We can all at some point relate to his jokes, wether you have done/said the things he says yourself, or if you know somebody like it, we all have more than likely encounted it at some point. Many of the gags he comes out with can be repeated amongst friends, and most people will know what your talking about. He is a very naturally funny man, with alot of wit, and is able to laugh at himself, which makes him appeal more. His act hardly has swearing in it, which i find a plus, as alot of comedy doesn't need to have swearing in it, and i think other comedians should take note.

*LIVE AT THE TOP OF THE TOWER*
This is Peter's first stand up DVD. The show none surprisingly, is filmed at the top of the Tower, in Blackpool. I think out of both DVD's this one is my favourite, although the other one is brilliant also. The DVD is packed full of humour and routines that you will remember, such as the dinnerladies, 'It's spitting, everybody in", "Les Cadbury's Finger Res" and one that most people will of heard of if they haven't seen the stand up act "Garlic...Bread?". The routine is pretty much about Peter Kay and his family, when he was younger growing up and his life experiences, including "Why do Mums buy crap pop?" ' Rola Cola' and "Why do people talk with their hands?" Highly recommended 10/10

Extras:

John Smith's Beer ads

His great obvservational skills, a naturally funny man, with great timings, his simple routines that don't include rude, offensive or racist material.

Summary: A top bloke.
