Phil Silvers, R.I.P, is one of the greatest comedy actors I have seen and The Phil Silvers Shoiw is in my top 5 favourite comedies. Phil Silvers plays Sgt Bilko, whos in charge of a platoon in Fort Baxendale. He is always up to no good, playing card games, running sweepstakes, basically doing evrything he is not meant to do. I can hardly tell you all how good this program is. Phil Silvers is a genius. Phil Silvers plays Sgt Bilko, the coolest soldier in the army. He runs the camp where he's based, even if he's only supposed to be in charge of the mechanics. He leaves the camp commander, Col Hall, behind when he comes up with one scam after another, trying to make money or to get himself as easy a life as he can. Sometimes they backfire and he looks like he's about to get in real trouble but no matter what he manages to wriggle out of it and turn the tables on whoever it is that thinks he's got the better of him.
