This is a great programme on tmf channel which you can see on freeview. This is presented by ex rap star exhbit. Well what it basically is apart from good entertainment is people who have really bad cars and can not afford a new one they enter for their ride to be pimped. So as someone gets nominated they then go out to their house and look at the banger of a car they have and they bring it to a gargae a specail pimp my ride garage with specailists in ice and spray and body works and top mechanics. So you wanna be a playa? But ya wheels ain't fly You gotta hit us up And get a pimped out ride! The theme tune to Pimp My Ride seems to crop back into my head and stay there for a long period from time to time. Pimp My Ride is another reality sort of television show produced by MTV. The show will run in an half an hour slot and like a lot of other MTV reality shows will follow the same format each show just with different cars and people. Pimp My Ride has been running for six seasons now since 2004 which includes 73 episodes. Also shown in the UK is the weaker, in my opinion, Pimp My Ride UK. The UK version is hosted by the absolutely ... Read the complete review

Pimp my ride is an American television programme that shows on the UK on MTV, although there is also a "Pimp My Ride UK" hosted by some guy called Westwood, and this is incredibly bad and cringeworthy and no where near as good as the American original version that this review will concern. Essentially, some lucky applicant who cannot afford a state of the art quality ride gets to have their banger done up by the guys at West Coast Customs. Hosted by rapper Xzibit, the show is know for it's outragous and expensive custom modifications, really people watch it for the jaw dropping "Largest Speaker in the World" type changes, and to see the ... I'll be the first to admit that I watch some trashy shows on TV - and whilst 'Pimp my Ride' is by no means the lowest of the low, it does have the reputation of being generally bad TV. Pimp my Ride is one of those programmes that I won't go out of my way to watch, but if I stumble across it during some random channel surfing, it will probably stay on. I am of course talking about the original US version, rather than the UK show which was presented by the rather annoying Tim Westwood, who is often described as a black wannabe ('Blannabe'?). The show began in 2004, and is now in its sixth season, having aired 73 thirty-minute episodes. Presented by ... Read the complete review
