Places That Don't Exist ... unrecognised nations, devised, written and presented by Simon Reeve. The series took Reeve to little-known parts of the world including Somaliland, recognised as part of Somalia; Transnistria of Moldova; Taiwan; Nagorno-Karabakh, of Armenia and Azerbaijan; Ajaria, Abkhazia, and South Ossetia, all recognized by the United Kingdom as parts of Georgia.

Places that Don't Exist is a TV program that ran on the BBC and can still be viewed in parts on youtube. The program is about countries which are unrecognised and breakway states, their struggle for independency and little snippets of everything from day to day lives to politics. I found it all quite fascinating as I've always wanted to visit some of the places in particular those in the Caucusus. I found this program extremely interesting and I think that most people who like travelling would too.
