Dave Fanning has an excellent interviewing technique and does more than just ask basic questions, he really gets the artists he interviews to reveal all about anything and everything he desires and he almost always succeeds. The Dave Fanning presented Planet Rock Profiles is an almost brilliant alternative to buying books or biographies of artists you like, as this show has captured many many artists and sucked as much info out of them and concentrated it for the viewing public to learn as much as possible about them in a short space of time.
