Powerpuff Girls

Description: Blossom, Buttercup and Bubbles save the world

Newest Review: ... is the leader- the "clever one" -a no-nonsense, sensible and mature girl. Bubbles is the one in blue with the blond hair -the "cute one"-and she is sweet, has a cute baby voice and loves flowers and pretty things. Buttercup (see my icon) is the one in green with black hair. She's the "tough one" and doesn't have time for baby games, flowers or being pretty and ... more

... girly (not quite like me then as Im a girly girl) but I like Buttercup the most because she is the toughest fighter. When a job needs to be done she isn't afraid of the enemy and she fights her hardest. We also occasonally see a more vulnerable side to ...more

I just had to write a review to explain why this show is so likeable - basically, they're just so darn cute! They are a team of three sisters, who were chemically created in a lab, called Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup. Their father, Professor Utonium wanted to create daughters and he included sugar, spice and everything nice. He also accidentally included CHEMICAL X! This chemical gave the girls superhero powers- they can fly, are super strong and have laser vision. The girls are easily identified by their individual hair and eye colour, clothing colour and personalities. Blossom, the one in red with red hair is the leader- the "clever one" -a ...  Read the complete review

The Power Puff Girls a cartoon series from Cartoon Network, which is very popular with my daughter and considered just about watchable by me. The story is that Professor Utonium has created three little girls who are super heroes with special powers, and the girls use their powers to fight crime. The Characters. Firstly the three girls Blossom, Buttercup and Bubbles. Blossom is the leader, Buttercup the tough, and Bubbles the rather soppy one who likes crayons and soft toys. The girls all have oversized circular heads and tiny bodies, they can be easily identified by the colour of their huge staring eyes and matching dresses, pink for Blossom, ...  Read the complete review

Judging by the opinions this has received so far, I guess 'The Powerpuff Girls' is a love it or hate it thing. Which I have to say really surprises me, as I was charmed the moment I saw it and have never since noticed anything about it that would offend. My boyfriend and I were flipping channels on cable about 2 and a half years ago when we stopped on Cartoon Network. It was showing a cartoon full of thick, sharp lines and 1950s shadings. An animated scientist made up of chunky right angles was in a supermarket, falling in love with a perky, flip-haired, bow-lipped 50s charmer who introduced herself as 'Ima... Ima Goodlady'. The Spice Girls might be swept under the carpet and forgotten about (as a group!), but we've still got girl power with the Powerpuff Girls! Personally, I don't really care for them, but the kids love 'em, and I suppose that's what really matters, hey?! The Powerpuff Girls are created by Craig McCracken and first appeared on the Cartoon Network's 'World Premier Toons'. Sugar and spice and all things nice. That's what little girls are made of! Well, they were the ingredients added by Professor Utonium to make the perfect little girl. But he accidentally added an extra ingredient - Chemical X - hence there being the ...  Read the complete review
