Advantages: none.

Disadvantages: Its aggressive,loud and contains ugly characters.

Oh how I loathe this cartoon series.
Produced by the cartoon network and if its the best they can do they shouldnt have bothered.
Commercial gains aside,this show has no merit whatsoever.

"The Power Puff Girls" consist of...
"Bubbles"
She seems to be the weakest of the three a bit of a whinge bag,with a sickly sweetened voice.

"Buttercup"
She has the harshest looking face of the girls,with some evil expressions,always seems to save little Bubbles and can be quite nasty.

"Blossom"
The strongest of all,She always manages to save the day against the evil villians.

They all live with the Man responsible for their creation "Professor Utonium".
In His Labratory He mistakenly added a chemical X solution during one of His experiments resulting in the creation of The Power Puff girls.

They have super Human strength,can fly through the air and save the city from an evil gang or an ugly monkey thing called MOJO Jojo.
As an aside its perhaps worth mentioning that underneath Mojo's Turban lies a fully exposed brain thats seems to be revealed at some point,in each episode He appears in.It's revolting,really sums up the nature of the programme,doesnt it?

Whenever the evil villians threaten to destroy the city and conquer the world,the City Mayor telephones "The Power Puff Girls"special hotline to ask for their help.
Out fly the girls who with their mighty strength and some violent swings and punches they save the day.

I find the characters very ugly and there doesnt seem to be any likeable ones at all contained in the cartoon.
The girls have huge oversized heads with tiny bodies making them look completely out of proportion.

Theres virtually no detail to the characters,they dont have hands and lack facial expressions,Making the drawings on say Scooby Doo look like the work of Rembrant in comparison.


The punch up scenes are aggressive and over the top,years ago this standard of violence would not have been allowed to be shown.
The cartoon is loud brash and very tacky including the theme tune.
It is a one plot show with little variation from day to day,it has no educational value whatsoever.

For some strange reason though children seem to like it,but what on earth the attraction is I dont know.
Maybe its the loud excessive nature of the show who knows?
