Advantages: Lots of relationship drama.

Disadvantages: None, in my opinion.

Private Practice is a spin-off of Grey's Anatomy, the hit hospital drama. As spin-offs go Private Practice is a good one. It is based in California after Addison Montgomery has moved down there to work in her best friends practice called Oceanside Group. The members of the Oceanside group include Pete, Naomi (Addison's friend), Sam, Violet, Cooper and Dell. Charlotte King the St Ambrose Hospital Chief of Staff also plays a large role. All the doctors in the practice have their own specialty but they work together to provide the best care possible for their patients.

The show follows them as they go about their everyday lives at work and at home, you follow their complicated relationships including the breakup of Sam and Naomi who were married when they set up the practice together. There have now been 2 seasons of Private Practice.

I really like Private Practice it has the same elements as a hospital drama, just outside of a hospital. The characters are all likeable and quirky in their own ways. There are also plenty of relationship dramas both within the staff and the patients!

Summary: Highly recommend this show
