Privileged is an American drama that started in September 2008 but wont be renewed for a second season. Meagan Smith is a 23 year old Yale graduate who wants to be a journalist. Meagan lives in New York and works for a sleazy tabloid magazine in the hopes of making it big but after failing to write an assignment, she gets fired. Her boss is quite sympathetic though and sets her up with an interview in Palm Beach. Once Meagan gets to Palm Beach though she realises the job she is applying for isn't exactly what she imagined.
