Psych is a comedy programme brought in from America and was recently shown on BBC2, although I think it has also been shown on the Hallmark channel and on the Sci-Fi Channel as well. Psych follows Shawn Spencer (James Roday) and his life long friend Burton 'Gus' Guster (Dule Hill) as they try to solve crimes in connection with the Santa Barbara Police Department. The thing is, they're not any ordinary police, in fact they're really consultants since Shawns usefulness comes from the fact that the SBPD believe that he is really psychic!
