PUNK'D I guess is one brave show to be shown on television, WHY? Because it takes a lot of courage to make fun of famous celebrity people or do practical jokes on them right? Aside from the fact that they might embarrass them and they might loose the poise or the image that the celebrity wants to enhance, its also about how does the celebrity deals with the situation. I think "ROCKSTARS" have this "don't mess with me I'm famous thing" in their minds that is so difficult to deal with. WHAT IS IT ABOUT: Ashton Kutcher hosts this hidden camera show, where American celebrities are pranked live on TV. The show is a bit like Beadle's About, except it is celebrities who take the role of unknowing star, not members of the public. IS IT ANY GOOD: This show is brilliant, because it turns the table on celebrities, and makes them look a bit silly. In a world of perfect image celebs, it's fun to see things go wrong and put a crack in their perfect façade. A great example was with Halle Berry. At the premiere of her film 'Gothika', they got an official to tell her she couldn't go in, as the fire regulations had been broken and there ... Read the complete review

Punk'd is an American television show which is shown in the UK on MTV. First released in 2003 the show is hosted by Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher, it basically targets chosen celebrities who Ashton introduces at the start of the show and then the camera starts rolling as hilarious pranks are made on the un-suspecting celebs; they refer to this as being 'Punk'd'. The show is huge in the states and all the celebs now about the show, yet he still manages to catch them out. The prank usually continues for about five minutes before Ashton comes running in with a camera crew and the microphone and screams "you've been punked", at this point the celebs usually let ... Ashton Kutcher is one of the stars of the hit US coedy hat 70's Show where he plays the rather dumb ladies man Michael. In this show he basically sets up famour people with hidden camera pranks in order to see how they react. It is very much the same style as the Jeremy Beadle show from a few years back but instead of members of the public Kutcher sets up famous people like movie stars, pop artists and sports stars. Some of the stunts they pull are really good and will utilise a number of actors and sometimes the whole of the people in a restaurant are in on the joke. Naturally part of the fun is in the exposing of these stars who are worried about how they ... Read the complete review

This show started of amazing, ashton kutcher plays pranks on celebrities and we see how they truly react, of course everyone has seen the Justin Timberlake one, now a classic, it has shown all top Hollywood stars, music stars etc, ranging from silly pranks to very elaborate pranks, sometimes it doesnt show the celebrity in good light and you get to see their true personality, bt all round a great show. it evened created a now hollywood actor out of it in Dax Shepherd, but over time ashton would not appear coming out from back to confront guests, thats when you knew that the guests were not big in their field, some times i didnt even know the celebrities being ...
