Advantages: Funny, knowledgable, whitty, delightful!
Disadvantages: The obvious answer siren - can get a little annoying!
Without doubt one of the best shows on TV - which isn't actually giving it praise enough as the majority of what is shown on TV is drivel!
With a TV world that is obsessed with 'celebrity' be it deserved or not and 'reality shows', thank god for the likes of QI.
QI is a comedy panel quiz show based on facts that are Quite Interesting (in case you wondered what QI stood for). The panel are asked questions which are sometimes stupidly difficult or have an answer that we think we know, but is in fact wrong (questions like; what is the only man made construction visible from the moon? Most would say the Great wall of China - which is wrong. It is infact a floating island of garbage in America!).
Regular panelists include, Vic Reeves, Phil Jupitus, Jo Brand, David Mitchell, Rob Brydon, Jeremy Clarkson, Johnny Vegas et al.
The show is hosted by the wonderfully whitty Stephen Fry and the resident panelist Alan Davies.
The programme is not only incredibly funny, but also educational and not just quite interesting but very interesting! If you like to impress your mates down the pub wit ha barrage of useless facts and information, then this show is for you. I guarantee that you'll discover something new in every episode.
QI is a comedy show for people who want more from entertainment than just watching a bunch of Z list 'celebrities' ice skating / dancing / eating insects and generally being annoying, and prefer the company of a more intellectual bunch - and they don't come anymore intellectual than the QI team!
Summary: It'll Fry your brain!
