Advantages: Classic TV
Disadvantages: It is no longer being made.
What a brilliant series! I first came across Quantum Leap on the advice of friend. He said he liked it and said that I should watch just to see what it was like. That night I watched my first episode and loved it. It is about a Dr. Sam Beckett who invented a way to 'quantum leap' around into other peoples bodies at different times of history. Sam, with the help of his holographic friend Al (who has a VERY dodgy fashion sense), goes around jumping into peoples lives in order to some how help them or change history for the better. This is a classic example of brilliant Cult TV. The storylines are still fresh and original today - and the messages conveyed are also still pertinant and always will be. I'll sum up by saying if you haven't seen it see it. It is brilliant watching. P.S. look out for the phrase 'Ho Boy' in each episode. No matter what the situation Sam will always say it, usually while holding his chin, when in trouble.
