Advantages: Best Sci-Fi show ever
Disadvantages: Not made anymore
Im not really a fan of Sci-Fi shows so maybe I dont have enough knowledge in the subject to write a valid review, but however Quantum Leap is more than just your average Sci-Fi show. This show is absolutley brilliant, the action, adventure, suspense and comedy. The show is set in the future(well 1995 it was the future then) and is about a man who travels through time leaping into different peoples bodies. His job is to correct something in their life, once he has accomplished that he can move onto the next. Scott Bakula plays Doctor Sam Beckett, the man who is leaping from person to person. His sidekick Al is played by Dean Stockwell. Sam has lost his memory and Al is a hologram from Sams time who gives him info on whats going on. The relationbship between these too is brilliant and so realistic that it makes the show what it is, also the comedy between them is immensley funny. The concept is pretty simple but a lot of the storylines are complex and entertaining as Sam must find a way to put right things that originally went wrong. There are so many brilliant episodes including ones where he plays Elvis. The sad thing is that they dont make the episodes anymore, although the repeats are shown on UK Gold. Another great aspect of this show is the music. Absolutely amazing music which really sets the pace of the show, its a shame that they tried to jazz it up a bit in the later series as the earlier music was the best. Just hearing that music makes you reminisce of that great action filled title sequence.
