Not knowing an awful lot obout sport I used to avoid this quiz. Oh what a fool I was, it has to be one of the most entertaining quiz shows on the T.V.

Hosted by Sue Barker, you could be swayed into thinking that is she the weakest link, but no she is no only a one time ace Tennis player but also extremely good as a quiz show host too.

It is a quiz as you may have already guessed, all the questions are based on sports personalities past and present. There are two teams one captained by Allie McCoist and the other captained by John Parrott. Each captain has two team mates which are normally sports personalities, I say normally as the Christmas show had good old Jim Royale and Sir Cliff Richards, each being on seperate teams along with a guest sports person.

I never thought that John Parrott could be so amusing I never know the answers to the questions but the humour contained in this show couldn't be bottled. Each week Allie and John give gentle houmourous banter to each other and it is good light hearted fun for all to enjoy.

It is a deffinate one to watch if not to answer the questions but to see John and Allie, they even give Sue Barker banter and it is so very funny, one of the best sports quiz shows ever, along side They think it's all over of course but that is another thing all together.
