I felt that through his recent and past records of events, someone at the BBC could see that it was time he hanged himself on TV and did the cause for the BNP in democratic terms no good what so ever. There were valid points he did have in the way that many came into this country and not willing to offer anything in return and live off ... more

Premium Review Question Time: The Glorified Witch Hunt from the BBC (412 words)

This week's "Question Time" showed that we are a democratic country by allowing the BNP Leader Nick Griffin onto the show and to explain from his pedestal, his antics in the public light and his anti-racism. Unfortunately it was a shame that all the show had to offer; with the members of the main Conservative, Labour and Liberal having little beneficial solutions themselves to our rapid problem of mass immigration. It was only Nick Griffin's stupid, arrogant and clueless attitude that showed he himself is unelectable as well as his party. I felt that through his recent and past records of events, someone at the BBC could see that it was ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nick Griffin ? Yes, here are the handcuffs! (1963 words)

It will be no surprise to learn that the BNPs appearance on Thursdays Question Time will have earned record viewing figures, believed to be around 8 million, unheard of for this time of night, all those people saying the odious Nick Griffin should not be given a big stage on Britain's flagship current affairs show the first to tune in with their popcorn. But it didn't earn Griffin any votes as he walked into an ambush. Talk about a duck shoot! In fact I think he even LOST votes on immigration issues he was that poor and unprepared. It promised to be compulsive rubber necking TV and I was one of them with snacks and a brew to hand. Could our expenses snorting, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Dick, er I mean Nick Griffin, the BNP and Question Time (629 words)

Question Time is a debate show aired once a week in the UK, chaired by David Dimbleby with a different panel of guests every week, mainly from politics, with a few tokens from the entertainment world I don't as a rule tune in to Question Time, it is more of a case of if I am channel surfing I will watch it, and I always enjoy it for one reason or another. I set a date for last night's. The timer was timed on the recorder, just in case I missed it, and I very nearly did. One of the guests was Nick Griffin, Leader of the BNP. The others being Justice Secretary Jack Straw, shadow communities minister Baroness Warsi, Lib Dem home affairs ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Should the BNP be allowed a voice? (234 words)

There's been a lot of news coverage today on the appearance of Nick Griffin (British Nationalist Party), people chaining themselves up to protest against letting him appear on TV etc. I am not a supporter of the BNP - it scares me that they seem to be garnering more support these days - as we all know, extremism thrives in economic downturns. But I am a keen advocate of free speech, for the very reason that if you allow bad people to say what they think, other people can hear how bad they are. As I write, Question Time is drawing to a close, and I have barely heard a sentence from Nick Griffin. The whole programme has consisted of liberals ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review Question Time: Questions, Questions and perhaps an answer!. (1229 words)

The older I get the more interest I take in politics, I do wish that I took more of an interest in my younger days but to be completely honest it just never appealed and I never felt drawn to it, I think that the majority of young voters still feel this way and all the parties need to concentrate on getting into the hearts and minds of the younger demographic. I admit that I still struggle to understand some of it and some of the termanology but I do try to taken an interest and question time is a programme that helps. The history of question time - Question time is a political program that goes out every week on Thursday evenings at ...  Read the complete review
