If you like watchng an angry man swear a lot then this might just be the programme for you however if like me you are turned off by swearing then do not bother to switch on this particular show.

In each episode so called celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey whose language is better suited to his former occupation as a professional footballer, goes into a restaurant that is struggling and attempts to turn it around by offerring brutal and honest advice.

Like all these programmes those taking part are selected either because they will be confrontational or they are very eccentric, either way there will be lots of arguing and shouting with no guarantee that Ramsey advice will actually work or that they will follow it in the first place.

I have seen a couple of episodes, the first was actually quite good as he attempted to turn around a Caribbean restaurant where he met his match in the form of the woman who ran it, here the issue was not about food quality but more about speed of service and efficiency in the kitchen so it was a little less explosive. The other show which was the one that turned me off to this programme was when he went to America, here the swear count rose into double figures in the first five minutes and the show was awful.

Certainly not a show for me.
