Why on earth did they have to try to ressurect Ready Steady Cook once more. This programme is well and truly past its sell by date and to bring in an extra quarter hour for another dish is neither use nor ornament. When will the makers give us the credit for realising that the chefs are just half cooking the self same things day after day and however talented they are twenty minutes to cook anything reasonable is ridiculous. Putting Ainsley in charge was a nice try and he has got a wonderful personality but he can not replace Fern who has well and truly put her stamp on the programme. The personalities who take part appear very genuine nice people as anyone who has met them at The Good Food Show will testify but the whole cookery programme thing has run its course and this one had a very good run.Its time to move on folks.
