I know this is supposed to be about Season 1, but there's no overall section or season 2 so I'll be mixing it a little. ~~~ What's it About ? ~~~ Reaper follows Sam Oliver who has recently become the possession of the devil. It's Sam's job to send escaped souls back to hell. He does this with he help of his friends Sock and Ben, while trying to keep the truth about what he does from his Girlfriend Andi. The overall goal for the Sam is to find a way out of his deal with the devil. ~~~ Cast ~~~ Bret Harrison ... Sam Oliver Tyler Labine ... Bert 'Sock' Wysocki Rick Gonzalez ... I love Reaper ad this comes from someone who can't really stand a lot of American supernatural/sci-fi shows. I was never into Buffy and Angel, even though these are along similar lines to Reaper. I think the main difference is that Reaper doesn't take itself too seriously. The characters are very likeable and don't appear as two dimensional as you would expect. Series one starts with Sam, the main character, finding out his parents have signed a contract with the Devil enslaving Sam to work for, yes you've guessed it, the Devil. I love the twist on the role of the Devil in the Reaper. Instead of acting like a pantomime villan he plays ...  Read the complete review

I watch like a million tv shows and they are all primarily the American Shows as in comparison to the British shows I find them to be of much higher value. Especially if you look at shows like Merlin, Robin Hood, Demons etc, they really dont compare to shows like Lost, Prison Break etc. Thats just the way I see it, and a few days back I was looking for a new show to start and consequently wanted to check out a new American show and came across Reaper. Its quite a cool plot about a guy who on his 21st birthday found out that his parents sold his soul to the devil before he was before and hence is now contracted to work for the devil as a bountyhunter for the ...  Read the complete review

What a novel idea for a show - a couple not expecting to have kids, have sold the soul of their firstborn child to the devil for.. well something we're not told in the first season. It's certainly not something that's been done before, and it is an interesting and novel idea. It was this initial concept that made us turn on and watch it. Sam is the main character and we meet him and his family on his 21st birthday when he finds out about his parents deal with the Devil, as he learns about what he must now do - become the Devil's assistant and send escaped souls back to hell - if he doesn't then the Devil will take his mother's soul instead. The series takes ...  Read the complete review

One Sunday afternoon i was laid on the couch (hungover) watching T4 and beacuse i couldnt be bothered to move, just left it on all day. When Reaper came on i thought i would hate it but i absolutley loved it. Reaper's main character is Sam (Brett Harrison) and on his 21st birthday he finds out that his parents sold his soul to the devil (Ray Wise) and must now become his reaper and send escaped souls back to Hell using some wierd kind of vessel e.g he had to send a boxer back to hell with a pair of boxing gloves. Sam cant refuse what the devil asks of him otherwise his mothers soul will be taken instead. Although this is Sam's job, his 2 best friends who he ...  Read the complete review
