Newest Review: ... However, after a number of years, the crew are wiped out by a mistake caused by Arnold Rimmer. The only survivor of this is Dave (Craig Charles) who was put into isolation during the time of the disaster for bringing a cat on board the ship. However, more characters begin to blossom. Rimmer, is brough back as a hologram with the sole intention of keeping Dave sane. There is the cat himself, who has now morphed into human form and finally a robot named Kryton, who is found from another ship. There is also the ships computer, a stupid bloke named Holly. Basically the storyline follows the travellers as they attempt to find their way ba... more

Red Dwarf is, in my opinion, on of the greatest sitcoms ever made. Featuring an extremely likable and talented cast, with some of the funniest, but intelligently written storylines, the show has left its mark on both sitcom and sci fi history. The story is basically about the last man in the universe, Dave Lister (Craig Charles). After being placed in stasis aboard the mining ship Red Dwarf, and accident happens on board that kills the entire crew, except Lister. He is awoken millions of years in the future by the ship's onboard Computer, Holly, who informs him of what happens, and tells him that his old work mate (who Lister has a love hate ...  Read the complete review

Originally pitched to the BBC as 'Steptoe and Son in Space', Red Dwarf is a sci-fi sitcom based around Dave Lister (Craig Charles), the last human being alive, who has ended up countless light-years from home and 3 million years in the future after the vast-city-sized mining ship he was aboard (Red Dwarf) was rocked by a nuclear explosion that killed the entire crew, apart from Dave, who was locked away in stasis as punishment for brining a cat aboard the quarantined craft. Released after the radiation ceased to be harmful, David's only companions initially are Rimmer (Chris Barrie), a hologramatic reconstruction of his officious, smarmy and neurotic former room-mate ...  Read the complete review
