Advantages: Informative and not afraid to be a little controversial

Disadvantages: Rather too Real Madrid and Barcelona focused

As a Spanish teacher and football fan I have been an ardent follower of Sky's coverage of Spanish football since it began, although like the previous reviewer I do sometimes get sick of the regular diet of Real Madrid/Barcelona v whoever they are playing home or away every weekend. 'Revista de La Liga' does, as he suggests, also spend rather too much time on the big two, but at least it does find the time to talk about most of the other 18 teams after the various clips from the previous week's action are shown.

I very rarely watch the show live, as this gives you the opportunity to delve into it during the bits which are of most interest to you - if you have watched one of the games live over the weekend, you can fast forward through the extended highlights of it, or alternatively pass over the interview with Eidur Gudjonssen about his experiences of living in the Catalan capital. However if you want a little bit of everything, this show gives you the lot - action, analysis, interviews, competitions and the light-hearted 'guapa' which pays tribute to the more skilful moments of the previous weekend. For me the star of the show is Guillem Balague, who appears to have some incredible sources - read The Sun et al for the vaguely correct rumours, then turn on RDLL to find out what is really going on behind the scenes. A real treasure amidst the morass of football coverage on Sky's sports channels.
