Advantages: The clothing wakes you up

Disadvantages: The programme

When I heard that the Big Breakfast was being taken off air I was absolutely devastated. This is for many reasons 1) I once appeared on the big breakfast to sing!!! (My fifteen minutes of fame!!) 2) It was slightly crude and cheeky humour at an early hour of the morning which woke me right up and made me laugh on the way to school!
So when ri:se started showing I felt I must watch and see if it had anything on The Big Breakfast. Guess what? It hadn?t

Introduction- RI:SE runs from 6:55 a.m until 9:00 a.m each weekday. It is presented by Mark, Edith, Colin, Kirsty, Chris, Liz and Henry. It has a continuous screen of news running across the bottom of the screen and has regular news and weather updates.

The presenters- This bunch of six happy, brightly dressed and supposedly humourous young people bring about as much life to breakfast TV as Delia smith would to Glastonbury. They annoy me and probably everyone I know, especially the main presenter Murk Durden-smith. Everything from his monotonous voice to his awful impressions makes him one to be avoided at all costs.

The Show (faults and all) ? As the presenters perch around a desk looking very uncomfortable we sit and eat breakfast and try to wake up, with not much help from this programme, the most eye-opening thing being the colour of the presenters? clothing.
The quick news updates rarely consist of anything more than the Sun newspaper would on a typical week day, although the scroll across the bottom does.
The jokes cracked by the presenters basically aren?t funny at all, yet the presenters often seem to crack up into fits of laughter. All the programme has consisted of so far is Big Brother. However now that the series is over what will they talk about? They have sent a former Big Brother housemate ? Sophie Pritchard to Ibiza, but that can only last the summer.

Basically I am expecting this programme to be taken off air within the year. My plea? Please bring back Th
e Big Breakfast!!!
