Advantages: New twist on the talk show

Disadvantages: Only a couple shows made each series

The creators of Room 101 should have a slap on the back for finding a unique way to have a talk show. The format of the show is that a famous guest comes on the show and nominates thinks that he or she would most like to see disapear into Room 101. Usually each item is has a comical debate associated with it and then the host decides wether or not to let it in to Room 101. It is amazing that they have been able to keep comming up with new items.

The show was hosted by Nick Handcock until recently when it was taken over by Paul Merson. I like Paul Merson so I was hopeful that it would still be good. He does things just slightly different than Nick but I think that is a good thing. It wouldn't seem right if he was doing the same laddish type humour as it wouldn't match with his public persona.

All in all a good show that helps to pass the time and give you a giggle along the way. Everyone loves having a good moan.
