Roswell High or just Roswell is an American television show aimed at teenagers and it started in the late 1990s. Up until a few months ago, I had not heard of it at all. I was introduced by a friend at university who had the DVD box sets and I am fully converted and am now half way through second season. It has a cult following of fans online but somehow has not made a wider audience. The basic plot is that is another new take on the famous Roswell, New Mexico spaceship crash in the 1950s. Roswell is a TV show with a story I thought at first really stupid. I can't really even make it sound good now, because whatever way I put it it just sounds silly. It's about teenage aliens. Past that, though, it's really just the same as any other teenage show I think. I ignored it as is to be expected at first but then I came to really like the show. The first season was interesting and the characters are great. The main character, Liz Parker, is a bit annoying to be honest. She dies and is brought back to life by Max, an alien. ROSWELL HIGH is a television show which is also known simply as ROSWELL. It was first broadcast between 1999 and 2002 and is a hybrid between a science fiction show and a teen drama. Based on a series of novels by author Melinda Metz, the show tells the story of the 'Roswell aliens' who crash landed in New Mexico in 1947. These three aliens were children at the time of the crash but were kept in suspended animation. Ok now i know this show will not appeal to everyone but i genuinely believe that it is a warmhearted look at friendships, relationships and aliens! Roswell... or Roswell high as it is sometimes called (if you read the books) is one of the most addictive TV programmes I have found other than Buffy and Angel. It describes the lives of four tenagers after they came out of incubation pods and live perfectly human lives.
