Advantages: funny
Disadvantages: on a little too much
After being subjected my dear 8 year old to the Sabrina marathon, I thought I might as well write an opinion on it! Sabrina is on Nickelodeon nearly every day and sometimes on ITV too. It features Sabrina a teenage witch played by Melissa Joan Hart, who lives with her two dippy witch Aunts Hilda and Zelda. She also owns a talking cat-Salem, he hasn’t always been a cat but was once a human who was turned into a cat for punishment. Sabrina attends High school where she has a boyfriend called Harvey. A lot of the episodes feature the school and a bully cheerleader called Libby. The antics this family get up to are unbelievable from riding a vacuum across the sky to travelling round the moon in a gondola. Melissa plays the part brilliantly and is witty, and naturally funny. Hilda and Zelda are also excellent and offer the more dry wit. It may be a series aimed at children but I can’t help tuning in to see what scrapes she gets her self into next. This is good clean family viewing at its best.

- 29/12/00 So we weren't the only family subjected to the Sabrina marathon then !! I swaer it lasted DAYS !! Every time we wanted Leigh-Ann (10) to do something, she was glued to yet another episode of the show. She even forgot to clean out her rats' cage - oh yeah & guess what her rats are called ? Sabrina & Salem !! <sigh> |
