Gameshows... don't you just love 'em? And I'm not talking about what we get on our telly screens nowadays. I mean, it takes a specific kind of extrovert to be willing to live on a remote island (and I don't mean the Isle of Sheppey!) or to be couped up with a bunch of starngers in a house in deepest, darkest London, defecating, masticating, and maybe even fornicating in front of an omniscient, omnipresent television camera. The kind of show that I am referring to is the show that has Joe Public as a contestant, like a builder from Catford, or a cuddly granny from Barrow in Furness, and which does not promise life changing amounts of money to the winner. ...
