Advantages: very funny

Saved by the bell was one of my favorite programmes growing up, set in an American high school it followed the antics of 6 friends, as with most American programmes of this type there was always a moral but it was also very funny.

The main character of the show was called Zack Morris, a blond haired trickster who always just managed to avoid getting into trouble. He was very much in love with Kelly Kapowski and they had a very on off relationship all the way through, they we're an early Ross and Rachel.

Zack has 2 best friends the most memorable of these was Samuel Powers better known as Screech. Although he was Zack's geeky sidekick he ended up been the most remembered and the most iconic.

Zack's other friend was Jessy Spano who he had known from kindergarten and who became the love interest of Zack's rival A.C.Slater.

A.C.Slater was the new kid who's dad was in the army and because of this the Slater family moved around a lot. Him and Zack clashed from day one but ended up as friends.

There was also Liza Turtle who was very fashionable and very popular and the love of Screeches life.

There was also the principle of the school Richard Belding who was always a step behind what was going on and was often made to look stupid.

Saved by the bell was overall very funny, especially in the earlier episodes, in later episodes some of the characters changed and it started getting more serious. But with the original line up it was always a winner.
