Star Trek - Deep Space Nine:
... was always my least favourite incarnation of Star Trek (I ve never seen Enterprise so I can t comment on that). This has been for two reasons. Firstly, it s set on a space station. No real sense of going out and exploring the universe for the most part. The series had a bit of this at first, but later became pre-occupied. Secondly, the over-arching theme is that of warring races. It s just not as fun as trying... Read the full review: Still good, but the weakest of the 4 by Asdf1 |

Doctor Who TV Series ... revival series of Doctor Who hasn t been handled too badly, although at times I do get a bit fed up with all the gay references that Russel T Davies puts into it. The best storeis were the impossible planet/ satan pit for series 2, the unquiet dead from series 1, Smith and Jones and Blink from series 3 and probably Silence in the Library double parter from series 4. I always though that Billie Piper was overrated as an actress and wasn t too keen on her in Dr. Who, so as you can imagine when she departed at the end of series 2, I was over the moon! Freema was a much underused character but her constant whining for the Doctor got on my nerves, Catherine s brashness... Read the full review: Good reinvention by Asdf1 |

24 ... action packed episode, 24 gripping hours, 1 day a season and all episodes with Jack Bauer. Kiefer Sutherland play a CTU agent that always seems to be in the wrong places at the wrong time. Jack is apart of a special branch of a government crime prevension agency known as CTU or Counter Terrorist Unit. Also like what you can imagine the FBI and CIA is like. The structure of one season of 24 breaks down in to 24 episodes of an hour each making a full day. instead of knowing them as season or series 24 has undergone being known as days as there are 24 hours in the day, sounds confusing it must just be me trying to type out the explanation. There are seven seasons curre... Read the full review: 24 24 24 by gio619 |

Heroes ... is American series about a group of normal people with supernatural powers, no two people have the same ability and now all abilities are good. We have had 3 seasons here in the UK and although it lost its way with the writers strike in Season 2, series 3 was just as brilliant as the first. You really do need to concentrate to see all the twists and turns in the third series but it is definitely work an hour of your undivided attention. Not all characters have abilities and not all of these with abilities (good or bad) used them to help people. There are a lot of special effects in the show and the heroes are constantly saving the world, which makes exciting v... Read the full review: There Heroes are here! by Amanda2114 |
