Scrubs is an American comedy series created by Bill Lawrence, and so far to date there are eight seasons. Each episode follows a similar formula in which you follow the main character JD (played by Zach Braff) who narrates each episode too.
We begin the series with JD starting out at sacred heart hospital as a staff intern, he becomes close friends with fellow intern Elliot Reid (played by Sarah Chalke) and they get together and break up a number of times during the show. Elliot is constantly driven to prove she as good as her peers and wants to to recognised by her family (all the males in her family are doctors). Then there is JDs best friend Christopher Turk (played by Donald faison) a surgical attending, Turk and JD are friends from college and always maintain a very close relationaship. Carla Espanosa (played by Judy Reyes) is nurse who works at the hospital and becomes Turks girlfriend then wife
these are just a few of the cast others include Dr. Cox, Dr. Kelso, and the Janitor most notibly.

I've followed the series all they way to date and love them all, i'm hoping there will be a ninth confirmed soon. Scrubs can be bought on dvd or followed on e4 and paramount comedy. I'd recommend this programme to anyone
