Advantages: Plenty of laughs
Disadvantages: Story tends to repeat itself
I must admit, it took me along time to get into Scrubs. But it something I watch on a regular basis nowadays. Scrubs is a comedy set in a hospital, quite an interesting idea as you would not think there would be to many laughs in a hopsital setting. But there are plenty.
The show follows a few doctors and nurses round in there everyday life. As with all good comedy shows the plots are kept quite simple, so you can come in at any point and pick up the story. This is very handy as Scrubs is on a few different channels. You can catch it a few times a day on Comedy Central and its also on channel 4 or maybe E4. I can never keep track of which series I'm watching so it's great you can just watch any episode and not worry to much about the story line.
Zach Braff is the main star of the show, playing nurse JD, or John Dorian, or Bambi or a whole host of other names. There are plenty of other excellent characters in the show who always make me smile.
Currently on season eight, this show has been going for a long time which really does show the strenth of the show. It's won several awards down the years and just seems to go from strength to strength.
Overall this is an excellent show, plenty of laughs, some touching stories and plenty to enjoy. If you have never seen this show before I recommend having a watch. You will be hooked in no time! And am sure this show will be going for many more years, so for those of us who are already hooked, there is plenty to look forward to!
Summary: All round excellent comedy
