This programme was so hyped when it was first shown on ITV2. I don't think you could watch anything on ITV without seeing an advert for it.

So as I like to give new things a watch I thought I'd give it a go. I wasn't quite sure how it would hanndle the story matter - would it gorify prostitution? would it be believable.

It is supposed to be based on the high class escourt Belle du Jour's life. But I'm not sure if this is a real person or whether it is a pure work of fiction.

Well on to the programme - it is only on for 30 minutes and once you have the taken the time out for the adverts it probably is actually on for about 22 minutes. I found that the acting was a little bit wooden and the story was a bit predictable. The high class call girl who is very plain in real life - falls for one of her cleints but can't do anything about it. No doubt in later episodes she then meets this person in her day time role.

I say assume because I never stayed with series. I watched the first one, wasn't that impressed but thought I'd give it another go, but for me it really didn't improve enough for me to watch it anymore. I know people who really rate this series and it did make a second series but it just isn't for me, not sure what I wanted from the show but it was just too poorly acted, and the story just wasn't there.
