Alex lives with a would-be author who thinks writing is "a piece of piss" – but he hasn't written anything yet. Then Kelly arrives, trailing an ex-boss who refuses to leave his wife. The Secret Life of Us follows the lives of eight people looking for the same thing – love, sex, romance, success – and anything else that's worth going after. The problem is they haven't worked out how to get it yet – so they make it up as they go along. The Secret Life of Us is a TV series about stuff that really happens. The Secret Life of Us is an Aussie drama series about the lives of a group of twenty-something friends living in an apartment block in Melbourne. The series starts with Evan (an unpublished writer) and Alex (an anal Doctor) looking for a new flatmate. The easy bit… Us whinging poms have nothing to complain about with the latest Australian export. The Secret Life of Us (TSLOU) is rather like Miss Minogue, in that it is an acquired taste and a small gem. Have you not copped onto it yet? I have watched it from the first episode, but it took until the third one for me to realize that this was actually one of the best shows on the television at the moment. Unlike Ally McBeal and Co, the women are all healthy looking… but that isn’t really a valid reason to watch it. Let me explain. I happened to be at home when the first episode of the Secret life of Us was broadcasted.I watched it and since then i haven't missed a single episode!! The series deals with the life and the problems of a group of friends in their late 20s-early 30s,who live in Australia.
